STATEMENT OF FAITH

- We believe the Holy Scriptures are God’s infallible and authoritative word. God is the author through divine revelation and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
- There is one true God eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of deity and the characteristics of personality.
- We believe in the literal account of creation, that God created everything, and that in His own image and likeness He created man. Only by the grace of God can man be restored to fellowship with God, through faith in Jesus Christ.
- Salvation involves the redemption of man, and is freely offered to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In its broadest sense, salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling presence, the believer in Christ is enabled to live a Godly life.
- We believe that baptism is an act of obedience to God, and a public declaration of faith, but is not a prerequisite to salvation.
- The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience memorializing the death of Jesus and the anticipation of His return.
- We believe that the husband and wife are of equal worth before God and both created in His image. The wife’s submission to her husband’s servant leadership has value as he unconditionally loves her.
